In the winter of 2012, Patricia faced an experience that marked her life when during her lunch break, she went out of her office to get some food and came across a destitute mother with two children who were dressed in rags, shivering and showing signs of extreme hunger. Patricia’s immediate reaction was to give her winter coat to the mother and then took the family to a near store, bought them winter clothes, and feed them. On her way back to the office she felt that the harsh climate was taking a toll on her; but, at that moment she realized that helping those in need was her destiny. Patricia graduated from Humber College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance and is currently working towards her Certified General Accountant (CGA) designation at Ryerson University.
